INDEPENDENCE & GOVERNANCE

An evaluation is only worth what its independence is worth. This page states, in writing and in advance, the rules ALETHEIA TUTELA works under.

How we earn money

ALETHEIA TUTELA earns its income exclusively from evaluation and verification mandates at published, fixed prices. We pay and receive no referral fees, no commissions and no success-based compensation of any kind. No organisation can influence an evaluation result by paying more, and no result is sold.

No consulting on our own standard

We do not sell advice on how to pass the SAI. Our reports identify gaps and a prioritised remediation path; closing those gaps is the organisation's own work, with its own advisers. Evaluation and remediation consulting are kept structurally separate, because an evaluator who profits from fixing what he finds has a reason to find more.

Conflicts of interest

The evaluator holds no financial interest in any evaluated organisation and accepts no gifts or benefits from clients or prospects beyond ordinary business courtesy. Where a personal or professional history exists between the evaluator and an organisation, the mandate is declined or reassigned under the conflict-of-interest rules of the Fidel Strub Forum. The inquiring organisation is informed when a conflict leads to a decline.

The standard in writing

The complete public rulebook of the SAI 100 is published as the SAI 100 Evaluation Guidelines: scope, evidence rules, scoring, bands, seal terms, revocation, appeals and confidentiality. The document is versioned; an evaluation in progress is always completed under the version in force at mandate signature.

Who stands behind ALETHEIA TUTELA

ALETHEIA TUTELA is the independent evaluation branch of the Fidel Strub Forum, registered in Switzerland (UID: CHE-391.977.628). The Survivor Alignment Index was developed by Fidel Strub from 30 years of lived and executive experience in the humanitarian sector. The standard is documented so that it does not depend on a single person: training materials, calibration records and written scoring guidance exist for every category.
