COMPLAINTS & APPEALS

We expect to be challenged. An evaluation standard that cannot be questioned is not a standard. Two routes exist:

1. Appeals by evaluated organisations

If we evaluated your organisation and you contest a finding or a score, you may appeal within 30 days of report delivery, in writing, naming the checkpoint and the judgment you contest. Every appeal is reviewed against the public evidence. If the evidence was misread, the score is corrected and the report is reissued. Appeals are part of the method, not an exception to it.

2. Concerns from third parties

Anyone may raise a substantiated concern, for example a documented contradiction between a certified result and an organisation's current public materials, or use of a seal after expiry. Concerns are reviewed against the same evidence rules as the evaluation itself. Anonymous or unsubstantiated claims do not trigger a review. Outcomes are communicated to the organisation concerned; they are not discussed publicly.
