In international health and philanthropy, standard financial audits miss a massive blind spot: how projects represent local communities on the ground. When poor photography, staged misery, or misleading claims end up in your marketing, they create real risks that can cost you major grants and donor trust.

ALETHEIA TUTELA checks what donors, journalists, and critics can already see: your website, your campaigns, your published reports. We measure this public surface against the 100-point Survivor Alignment Index (SAI). No internal documents and no staff interviews needed.

From a 15-day Public Surface Memo to the full SAI 100 evaluation: independent proof your board and donors can trust, with zero extra work for your team.

NOT A FINANCIAL AUDIT. AN ETHICS AND DIGNITY EVALUATION.

Fiduciary and financial standards bodies (DZI, OSGS, ZEWO, etc.), audit your books: whether the money flows correctly. We audit something else: whether your public narrative, your images, your stories and your promises do justice to the people you speak about. Both matter. Only one of them protects you from the story, not the spreadsheet.

WHY THIS IS DIFFERENT

Proof of Integrity. Zero Administrative Hassle.

Most external reviews take months, demand endless paperwork, and waste your team's time. We don't.

Journalists, donors, and critics judge you based on what is publicly visible. That is where we focus.

  • Zero Internal Document Demands: We do not ask for internal records, staff emails, or private data.

  • 100% Public Surface Audit: We evaluate your public website, media archives, and ads where 100% of your public risk lives.

Protect Your Funding. Fix Visual & Storytelling Risks Before They Become Public Backlash.

THE FOUNDATION

Truth, Protection, and Local Voice

The humanitarian and international health sectors have long lacked practical ways to measure whether organisations truly respect the communities they serve. The Survivor Alignment Index (SAI) was engineered under the Fidel Strub Forum to provide an objective, transparent standard for visual and narrative ethics.

Our name reflects this dual commitment to transparency and defense:

  • Aletheia (ἀλήθεια): The ancient Greek concept of truth specifically the active bringing of what is hidden into the light.

  • Tutela: The Latin principle of guardianship, protection, and safekeeping.

Together, ALETHEIA TUTELA represents our commitment to uncovering hidden public risks so that local communities remain protected and central to their own stories.

WHAT WE DO

I. For Implementing Organisations & NGOs

Keep your projects funded, fix narrative blind spots, and protect your reputation.

  • SAI 20, Public Surface Memo: We check the category where your risk is most visible. 20 checkpoints, a confidential memo, delivered in 15 days. If you book the full SAI 100 within 12 months, the fee counts fully toward it.

  • SAI 60, Targeted Evaluation: The three highest-risk categories (visual dignity, consent, fundraising language). 60 checkpoints, each finding backed by evidence, delivered in 30

  • SAI 100, Full Evaluation: All 100 checkpoints in five categories, about 100 days. You receive the full audit report plus a short executive summary for your board. Score 75 or above and you receive the SAI 100 Verified Seal, valid 12 months, with a unique verification ID that anyone can confirm via compliance@aletheiatutela.com. Any score with active work on the findings earns the Interim Alignment Memorandum, formal proof of progress you can show to funders.

II. For Foundations & Funders (ALETHEIA PATRONUS)

Protect your grant portfolio from media scandals and narrative drift. Ensure the organisations you fund maintain verified ethical standards and respect local community sovereignty.

  • Grantee Vetting Assessment: An independent check of a grantee's public surface before you release funding. A confidential summary for your board within 30 days. The grantee does not pay for it, sponsor it, or take part in it.

  • ALETHEIA PATRONUS, Portfolio Mandate: A yearly retainer that watches your whole grant portfolio: 5, 20, or 50+ grantees at the same time, with priority re-checks and board-level reporting.
